Village Prenatal

Once a month, I organize a Village Prenatal event tailored for expectant and consciously conceiving women within our community. This nurturing gathering aims to support and celebrate this special journey. Set on the first Sunday of each month from 11 am to 2 pm, please RSVP ahead of time for location details and join us in fostering a space of care and connection.

Receive up-to-date information for each gathering on my Instagram or Village Prenatal Facebook Group.

What to Expect

The main focus of this gathering is to celebrate, witness, and listen to the pregnant women attending this sacred circle. All women are welcome, regardless of where you are in your individual journey to, through, and beyond motherhood. If you are not pregnant, your role will be holding space and nurturing the pregnant women in attendance.

This gathering is FREE.

Coffee, Tea, and a light snack will be served upon arrival. Women attending have the option to bring a nutritious snack to share, but it’s not required.

Once in circle, we open with introductions/guidelines, oracle cards, or an intimate conscious practice.

Pregnant women will then have the opportunity to share birth dreams, current fears, and receive body massage. A fetoscope will also be available for women interested in exploring.

There will be group singing, but don’t worry, this is a judgment free space; I can assure you that my voice will crack. Try to embrace it and have fun! My hope is that in time we can all feel comfortable letting go of our fears and really lean into our vulnerabilities. It is through the act of gathering with women, and using our voices, that we heal ourselves, and ultimately, heal the world.

If time allows, we will watch an undisturbed birth video, or I may invite a mother to share her positive birth story (invite only).

We typically close the circle with a song.

Village Prenatal House Rules

The Village Prenatal is dedicated to fostering positivity through uplifting stories exclusively. We prioritize refraining from sharing traumatic birth experiences within this environment. Confidentiality is paramount; what's discussed here remains within our group. We embrace a label-free atmosphere, acknowledging that we are simply women coming together to offer mutual support and camaraderie. Our aim is not to instruct, advise, or sway anyone regarding childbirth or managing pregnancy situations. Mutual respect towards each other and the venue is appreciated. This gathering accommodates nursing babies exclusively and operates as a mask-free space.
