Reishi earned the name, “the mushroom of immortality” because of her potency as a Qi tonic, helping to maintain overall wellness and longevity, nourishing the blood, and strengthening the life force. In Traditional Chinese Medicine, Qi is recognized as the vital life energy that nourishes and uplifts the body/mind system. By maintaining a balanced Qi, we can fight off infection quickly, have good digestion and energy, and have a clear mental attitude.
Reishi is also famous for supporting the immune system before, during, and after illness, especially viral activity, by promoting healthy cell growth and turnover.
As an adaptogen, reishi nourishes and supports the parasympathetic nervous system, returning the body to a calm and composed state, reducing stress and anxiety, and decreasing physical and mental fatigue, therefore promoting inner peace and quality sleep.
For brain and cognitive support, it has been used to increase wisdom, improve memory, and decrease the feeling of forgetfulness.
When it comes to the cardiovascular system, reishi has been used to improve blood flow to the heart, lower high blood pressure, reduce cholesterol, and prevent blood clots.
Reishi has also been used to treat asthma and other respiratory issues such as bronchitis or severe coughing, tone the spleen, prevent the growth of tumors and help eliminate cancer cells while helping the body cope with standard cancer treatments. The antioxidant effects protect the body against radiation damage and can also be used after X-Ray exposure to reduce inflammation without interfering with the body’s natural healing response.

The method used to craft this product was taught to me by Arielle DeMartinez with SubLuna Botanicals. I am using her personal formula and extraction method with her permission.
Extraction process: A triple extraction is imperative in order to fully extract all of Reishi’s properties using alcohol, water, and heat. This elixir includes all three methods of extraction.
